Happy Memorial Day everyone. Of course, you all know today is a day to remember all our fallen veterans. This day means a few different things to me, though, one of which affects comic books.First of all, the pool parties at the Augusta Country Club are officially under way. That gives me another task to do at work. This is a particularly annoying task because it involves me setting up a bar outside in very hot weather while watching tons of people having the times of their lives in a pool.
The second thing that Memorial Day means to me is a delay in the shipment of comic books. As with all holidays, delivery services take the day off. For this reason, all of new releases will be available for purchase Thursday this week instead of the usual Wednesday. Allow me to reiterate. Comic books will be a day late this week!!! I hate when this happens.
Oh well. Atleast I get holiday pay today. Happy Memorial Day!
