This one is a no brainer. You have to get Blackest Night #1. Scar and Black Hand have been building an army of dead DC characters for the War of Light. Check out all the previews I've already written for more.
Additional stories about the War of Light can be found in Blackest Night: Tales of the Corps #1. In this 3-part series you will get a closer look at some of the main players of each corps. Expect some tales about how they found themselves with the ring or discovered new lights. Most interesting though, will be the debut of an Indigo Lantern. Finally!!!Marvel may not have anything as huge as Blackest Night coming out, but they will have some quality books tomorrow. Amazing Spider-Man #599, Captain America #601, Dark Avengers #7, and Mighty Avengers #27 hit stores. American Son concludes in Spider-Man. Bucky and Nick Fury reminisce about an untold tale of Captain America in this week's issue. In Dark Avengers expect some more Utopia X-Men stuff. And a new powerful threat that the Inhumans have been hiding will make his debut in Mighty Avengers.
